There’s an even more exotic choice available with spine-tingling dynamism. The Fenyr SuperSport is as formidable as the monstrous wolf fabled in Norse mythology from which its named is derived. The exotic Fenyr SuperSport doesn’t play by the rules – it creates them…besides, compromise is for politicians.

You are the driver who enjoys taking the long out-of-the-way trek to get to your destination. The “bundesautobahn derestriction symbol” is a welcome sight. Whether one takes the autobahn, the Grande Corniche (D2564) – or better still, Nürburgring Nordschleife the most Notorious racetrack in the world, the Fenyr SuperSport is the performance-focused supercar just for you. It’s the companion car for your Bentley Mulsanne, Rolls-Royce Phantom, or Mercedes-Maybach – after all, you cannot drive them as you would drive the Fenyr SuperSport that is built for extreme performance.

Synergy

Fenyr SuperSport comes from a rich multi-faceted technological environment executed with a synergistic approach. RUF Automobile GmbH tunes the beast with invincible fortitude. It is built by Magna Steyr in Graz, Austria. Fenyr SuperSport is the result of performance-focused collaboration between Lebanese, French, Italian, and German engineers. W Motors is creating their legacy. Their first HyperDream is the Lykan HyperSport. Ralph R. Debbas is the mastermind behind the Dubai based company originating in Beirut, Lebanon in 2012. His impetus is obvious: to build a super-high-performance ultra-luxury SuperSport – which is by the way the first Mid-East based luxury supercar manufacturer.

Ruf Automobile developed the ferocious powerplant for the Fenyr SuperSport based upon the Porsche Boxer-type. It is transverse mid-rear mounted. The 3.8-litre flat-six twin turbocharged engine cranks an astounding 800-hp @ 7,100 rpm packing a prolific punch with 980 Nm of peak torque @ 4,000 rpm. Longitudinal acceleration is rated as 0-62 mph in 2.7 seconds…0-124 mph in just 9.4 seconds with a top speed in the 248-mph range contingent upon the gear ratios. The fully catalyzed Inconel exhaust system is equipped with active bypass valves for a deep, rich, growl to match its svelte performance. (Somewhat like a communal howl to attract the attention of its pack) The engine is mated to a 7-speed Double Clutch RDK gearbox with limited-slip differential.

Symmetry

Fenyr SuperSport boldly exhibits architecture cast in exposed carbon fibre. Graphene Composite enhanced parts improve wind resistance, weight reduction, and overall performance. Its asymmetric refinement is more than just aesthetically appealing. Razor sharp angular lines and geometric shapes manage airflow with precision accuracy. A ‘Reverse Opening Door System’ creates a dramatic signature. It’s the only ultra-high-performance hypercar to use this classic inspired design feature. This car is truly exotic in every aspect.

Every square inch is designed to battle the forces. The rear Triptych Active Spoiler system deploys automatically at 75-mph to optimize stability as well as aerodynamic efficiency. This is part of Fenyr SuperSport’s active aerodynamics and is activated by a complex in-house developed electromechanical system. The ultra-exclusive performance behemoth is 181” in length, with a 75.8” width, riding upon a 103.3” wheelbase.

Sustenance

The world’s most exclusive hypercar has a cabin reflecting its thoroughbred character. Everything is futuristic and extremely unconventional. There isn’t anything to distract the driver from their ultra-high-performance experience. The bespoke nature makes the Fenyr SuperSport reflect the exact specifications of its proud owner. Carbon fibre accents, richly textured natural grain leather, Alcantara, and more – sky is the limit creating each as your very own personal masterpiece.

A tubular aluminium frame provides a lightweight but rigid foundation. Up front is a McPherson Strut suspension. The rear uses a multi-link rear axle set-up with coil over shock absorbers. Front and rear anti-roll bars augment stability. Six-piston calipers, and ventilated cross-drilled ceramic composite discs fitted all the way around brings the lone wolf to an even, fade-free halt. Bosch ABS 8.0 antilock braking system, ASR, ABD, and Traction Control assist when required.

The Fenyr SuperSport Launch Edition is limited to only 10 vehicles. Each is a unique color combination. Per W Motors: “A Unique color coordination combination specified to highlight the aggressive nature of the wolf.” The regular production model is limited to a highly restricted rate yearly which maintains its exclusivity.

Syntax

The almighty supercar niche can be confusing to the novice. There’s the ‘hypercar’ trending to encompass the upper-upper echelon such as McLaren P1, Pagani Huayra, LaFerrari, Lykan HyperSport, and Fenyr SuperSport. The Koenigsegg One now claims its position as a ‘MegaCar’ creating a new one-up for the competition. “Supercar” is a term now overused, for limited edition, outrageously equipped super high-performance athletes with a top speed in three digits, and lest we forget – a hefty price tag.

There are many arguments over the “Supercar” and “Hypercar” class where there’s a relatively thin line separating the ambiguity; however, contemporary times are erasing it. These cars are the pinnacle of what every sports car aspires to be – they simply do everything a little bit better, a little bit classier…a of course, a whole lot faster, than the upper-class sporting machines. This elite niche is no more magnificently portrayed than with the Aston Martin One-77, Lamborghini Aventador, Ferrari 810 Superfast, Calloway ‘Sledgehammer’ Vette, Lykan HyperSport, AND the Fenyr SuperSport.

It’s fascinating to see the launch of a dream that has manifested itself into reality. Ralph R. Debbas turned an idea into a vision – the vision became an indomitable virtue, a driving force – the results are the Lykan HyperSport and the formidable new Fenyr SuperSport. Hypercars such as these two cannot be compared to any other because Ralph created his very own niche! His vision gave birth to a thoroughbred class all its own. Extreme design, extreme performance, there’s nothing else quite like it on the road today.

The Fenyr SuperSport is an unusual automobile for those requiring a different breed. It’s satisfying in the way of a fine Chateau Lafite Rothschild (Pauillac 2010) or a Cohiba Behike 56.
