Armbruster Stageway is the oldest name in the professional vehicle industry. Based in Ft. Smith, Arkansas three men began a business building and restoring horse-drawn carriages. Armbruster Stageway has a history that spans over 100 years in the funeral car industry.

They built the first combustion engine Limousine. Armbruster Stageway was dedicated through generations of building the finest Limousines as witnessed by Matt Garrett’s exemplary example in pristine condition, the formidable 1990 Armbruster Stageway Silverhawk Limousine.

This massive 60” double-cut was built on the 1990-1992 Cadillac Brougham foundation and was transformed into the world’s finest Executive Limousine. This one is #150 built in March of 1990. It is equipped with a 5.7 litre 350 CID 16-valve V8 engine mated to a 700-R4 automatic transmission.

Armbruster Stageway had their own specifications for these magnificent motorcars. Matt Garrett’s Silverhawk is equipped with rear astroroof, rear bar, sink with drain and running water, ice chest, mobile entertainment system, dual privacy dividers, intercom phone, rear heating and cooling system, and special rear compartment illumination.

The Brougham conversion included the 60” stretch, heavy-duty 5.7 litre/700-R4/Corp 8.5 drivetrain, heavy-duty chassis which included a beefed up perimeter frame, large stabilizer bars front and rear, heavy-duty rear end, heavy-duty engine and transmission cooling, dual electric engine fans, dual stainless steel exhaust system, and special bespoke features and accessories which make it a distinctly elegant carriage.
