The sweeping sensation of its nautical blue metallic architecture flows into the cabin with a yachting inspiration. The new “inside-out” spatial design is the focal point for the exclusive 360-degree open-air lounge effect. The interior meets the exterior in a holistic design.
An electric blue accent links door, dash, and the rear area. Retro-essence continues with lavish crystal white Nappa leather with hand button-tufting creating a diamond motif upholstering the seating areas. Each of the buttons in this unique sew style features a delicate Mercedes star backlit in blue.
The cabin continues the visual contrast of light and dark, shapes, shadows, and an interplay of color. Seating surfaces span horizontally transitioning into the vertical plane of the doors finishing the underside of the fascia wing. An open pore wood floor with inlaid aluminium mocks that of a fancy upscale yacht.
The electric blue fibre optic light display visualizes the drive system’s electrical energy flow in the floating transparent center tunnel. Trim elements are augmented by the use of the hallmark rose gold color accents throughout the vehicle. Even the top is handcrafted with interwoven rose gold threads into the fabric. The color shade is reserved for electric conceptual vehicle research from Mercedes-Benz.
The Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6 Cabriolet is a conceptual exercise designed as an all-electric vehicle. This contemporization includes innovative technical concepts creating new benchmarks for the industry. The all-electric drive system generates 750 hp (550 kw) with a cruising range of 200 miles (NEDC 500 kilometers).
Four compact permanent magnet synchronous electric motors enable it as all-wheel drive. It’s also a spirited performer sprinting from 0-60 mph in less than four seconds. The Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6 Cabriolet is endowed with a top speed in the electronically governed range of 155 mph.
The innovative conceptual design includes a quick-charge function based upon the CCS standard. Its charging capacity is up to 35 kw. This unique function enables it to achieve enough power for a range of over 60 miles in just five minutes.

OMG! I have to have one of these bad boys!!!!! Never before have I seen an automobile of such amazing, sensual, curvacious and downright awesome good looks! (And I thought the interior of my 2011 Camaro SS convertible was special!)
I guess I’m gonna have to make a trip down to Hermann’s Pawn Shop with my Stihl leaf blower and hock it to get some cash together for this thing! I’ll also have to break the news to my State Farm agent. I hope my monthly insurance bill won’t go up too much!
